There is just one reason why people choose to take online degrees and it is not because they just want something to do. People opting to take a degree online will only do so if they need to better themselves or change career and have something stopping them from returning to a campus college full time.

They might have family to look after, they might have to work full time as well as studying, or they could have a busy life that they can’t cut down on to return to college.
